I’m reading Art & Fear: Observations on the Perils (and Rewards) of Artmaking. This is a book I’ve ready many times before, but I always find something new in it. I share this quote from the book because it’s relevant to me today:
“Quitting is fundamentally different from stopping. The latter happens all the time. Quitting happens once. Quitting means not starting again – and art is all about starting again.”

I love that quote. I even got a poem out of it. :laughs: Thanks for sharing.

Excellent. I’ll be curious to see what you think of it. It’s a little slow, but that’s because I want to let the thoughts settle instead of reading it as quickly as possible.

I’m not much of an artist. So that means I’m a quitter. 😆 Well at least I’m not a stopper. Ahihihi. Nice quote.
