Everyone loves the Golden Gate Bridge. I’m no exception. San Francisco Bay is huge and gorgeous and each bridge spanning it has its own charm. On Monday in the Bay area I decided to keep up with my bridge documentation (because no one ever takes pictures of the bridges, right?) and shoot a couple photos crossing the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
Oakland was warm and sunny, but San Francisco was not. I like the typical fog and the gray-blue of the skies, so much like Oregon most of the year. The bridge itself echoes those same colors, so it’s not quite as striking in contrast as the Golden Gate. It’s got its own unique beauty, busy with traffic though it always is.
Here’s a small sampling of what I saw from the passenger seat of the car (click on any thumbnail for larger images).
